You're a dinosaur trying to survive a parasitic invasion. Fight off the parasites before they weaken you. How many moves can you last?


Move around space to space gathering health or elemental buffs while you fight off enemies. While in battle you can not escape, you must fight to the death. See how many moves you can get. 

Hint: There is no win, just have fun getting as far as you can. As few moves, with as many enemies killed.


Controls:

WASD and Arrow keys to move


How to Play:

Move around the grid map and get into battles with the parasites.

Collect Health powerups and elemental buffs, even double buff if you can.

Careful to not pick up the wrong elements while buffed, they may not work or worse, destroy your current buff. 

Be mindful of the element you are and your enemy is, you maybe weak or strong against them inflicting extra damage on the other.

Every time you press to move counts as a turn, every 1 second of battle is a turn, and every 5 seconds if you don't make a move is a turn the enemy will take.


Element Based Information:

Fire: Strong against Grass. Weak against Water. 

Water: Strong against Fire. Weak against Grass

Grass: Strong against Water, Weak against Fire

If you attempt to pickup an elemental buff that you are currently weak against, you will become normal again. If you pickup an elemental buff that you are currently strong against it will destroy it with no effect to you.

Elemental Buffs last for 10 turns, though if you double buff this just resets the counter back to 0.


Please provide feedback, I intend to consider moving this game forward in some direction, but not completely sure of that direction as a lot of thoughts I have may involve a rewrite of the core of the game and my motivation for this project feels in and out.

I'm also considering posting a Dev Log of my process through most of this game. So keep an eye out for that if you are interested!

I did not find time and motivation to come around work on sound or music as I had wanted to, but I really came out of my shell with this game finding time to work on my own art and I wanted to do audio, but my skill there is less then art and never got the time to sit down and mess with this in an attempt to make my own as well as you may notice animations are up and down if they work properly, I worried sound for actions would suffer the same fate, this is where my core rewrite if I continue this project needs to happen so I can fix that to work properly.
